2012 BAHAMAS TRIP FROM THE SEA BASE

Bahamas trip scheduled for June 2012 may have one opening available.  If any scout is at least 14 or completed 8th grade by June 2012 is eligible to go.  Cost is about $1500 -$1700 depending on air fare.  Contact Mr. Mullaney to see if the last spot is full or not, if you are interested in going.

WORK DAY AT THE SCOUT CAMP IS POSTPONED

Work weekend out at the lodge for May 13-14 is canceled due to the lodge being rented out.  Watch for details on rescheduling.  A lot of work is needed to be done out there and the more people helping out makes everything get done faster so all can continue with their busy schedules.  Please plan on attending once the date is rescheduled.  Watch for posting notices.

 TID-BITS:

Watch for upcoming notice on Adopt – A- Highway clean up that will be scheduled soon.  This will earn your way to a pizza party and game night lock in at the school in Dec.

Price County Fair is Aug 25-28.  Workers are still needed to fill some time slots at the Boy Scout Food stand.  Please check your calendars and sign up for a time slot to help out in one of our major fund raiser for the troop.

Send Mr. Mullaney a Facebook friend request to be included on the Troop 540 group page if you are not already signed on.  Many notices and updates will be posted on the Troop Facebook page as most boys are on there and many don’t always read e-mails.
